This program provides essential support and resources to empower children in foster care and their families
The Closet Connection offers free shopping for Community Connections foster families. We accept donations year round so that we can continue to offer a wide selection of items to meet the needs of Community Connections foster parents and the children in our foster care program.
DONATE ITEMS
The Closet Connection accepts new and gently used clothing, shoes and books for children ages newborn to 12 years. Unfortunately, we cannot accept used car seats, cribs, bicycles or stuffed animals. For more information about donating items, call (770) 925-5001 or email donations@c-connections.com.

ANNUAL CAMPAIGNS
Our Closet Connection Program hosts four annual drives to provide additional support to our children in care. Learn more about each drive below.
SPRING FLING
The Spring Fling is held annually during the month of March to provide each child in our foster care program with a new spring outfit.
DONATE ITEMS
Donate any new outfit, for ages newborn to 12 years, and it will be given to a child in our foster care program.
DONATE BY MAIL
Donate any amount by check, cash or gift card and Community Connections social workers will shop for new spring outfits. A $25 donation will provide an outfit for one child. Donations can be mailed to 2300 West Park Place Blvd, Suite 114, Stone Mountain, GA, 30087, Attn: Donations.

SCHOOL START CAMPAIGN
The School Start Campaign is held during the month of July to prepare our students in foster care for academic success. Donating to the School Start Campaign is an investment in the future of a child in foster care.

DONATE ITEMS
Donate a new backpack and school supplies for one child or several children. Supplies needed include #2 pencils, pencil cases, hand held pencil sharpeners, washable markers, crayons, glue sticks, composition notebooks, yellow highlighters, spiral notebooks, pocket folders, scissors and hand sanitizer.

FALL SUPPLY DRIVE
The Fall Supply Drive is held during the month of September each year to provide each child in our foster care program with a new fall coat. The coat drive is paired with a diaper drive, as diapers are our agency’s number one request from foster parents.

Donate any new coat, for ages newborn to 12 years, and it will be given to a child in our foster care program. New, unopened boxes of diapers of all sizes are also accepted.

HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE
The Holiday Toy Drive is held during the months of November and December to provide each child in our foster care program with new gifts and toys for the holidays.
DONATE ITEMS
Fulfill a child’s Wish List and shop for the items. An individual or group donation of $100 to $150 fulfills an entire wish list for a child. You can also donate any new toy or outfit, for ages newborn to 12 years, and it will be applied to a child’s Wish List.
