SHARON BROOKS
FOSTER PARENT
Sharon Brooks has been a foster parent with Community Connections since 2002. Sharon has worked with great professionalism in collaboration with Community Connections staff, DFCS representatives, and community partners to provide excellent foster care services to 18 children and teenagers with medically fragile needs and significant behavioral challenges placed in her foster home. Sharon specializes in serving teenagers in middle school and high school and teaching independent living skills. Sharon enjoys working with youth and providing a safe and nurturing home environment where children can grow and reach their full potential. Sharon was nominated by Together GA and was recognized as Foster Caregiver of the Year in 2018 for her outstanding service provided to children in her foster home.
